Things have gotten out of hand. I can't be part of a community so grossly apathetic when it comes to theft of art, copyrighting, and all around bad ethics. I don't see an end to this madness, and I don't feel I can trust my artwork to such a site that has a direct disregard for the sanctity of someones artwork, that they pour their heart and souls into. I don't care what administrators and other high officials try to smooth it over, I've seen all I care to. Thanks for the times before this ever happened. It was fun while it lasted. ~Cina

Read up on some stuff that I should have read up on a looong time ago. The more I read on DA's questionable ethics, the more I feel appalled and sickened. =( Unnecessary bannings of people who voice their opinion, for one, (http://anti-ban-deviants.deviantart.com/ is a wonderfully horrible example) is bad enough to make me want to quit this site altogether. Not because I want to get "back at" DA, (I don't have a paid account and my art isn't good enough to make me a valued artist around here) but because I feel dirty just being a part of this place right now. Well! I leave for camp tomorrow evening at 8. I am very excited, because you know what? I miss Brian. Brian was my youth pastor of three years. He washed our feet on our missions trip, and he drove us to retreats, and was there every wednesday. He resigned to become the director of the camp I go to. I miss him. But now I get to go to camp for three blissful weeks! Not to mention I'll see his awesome family. I'll be working at camp as a kitchen hand. Whee! I love working in kitchens. And with food. And with....food. Gee. I get all excited just thinking about it.
